Getting started
Well… Here I am. Praha 5. Yea, I’m fine, thanks. My room is nice, but I’d like to move some furniture – yessss Sir, I’m a girl :D And Internet is working, finally. When I first got here, nobody was at home and the first thing I did was give my Laptop what it needs: access to the internet. For about an hour everything was fine. Than I got kicked and nothing worked. I tried a lot of things to fix it, but nothing worked. I got really upset – just arrived and already disturbing things :/ Upset I went to bed upset and got awake by a call by my favourite color (don’t try to understand, except you’re him).
Today I did some shopping and watched Czech TV – actually they were showing something about Czech-Austrian relations and nearly everything was translated so I understood most of it :) I had some tea and I’m so very ‘appy that they’ve got nice water here. My tea is tasting like it should^^ And that’s important for feeling at home ;)
One of my flat mates came home and when I told her about the broken internetconnection she just laughed and pulled all the plugs o_O Of course, everything’s fine now.
Just a few minutes ago I went for a walk along a quite big road (Radlická). There is a final stop of a tram and after that there aren’t so much buidlings next to the road which has four tracks here. And there are benches. I was really surprised: Four parkbenches on a quite big, well-used road and they were all pointing on the road. There is no real park around it – there are just the four tracks and the final tram stop. I don’t get it. It’s weird, isn’t it? Oh, and I found a broken TV on the pavement. It was already open – does anybody need something out of it? =D
I’m sorry for mistakes but my proof-readers are on holiday. Want to become one? – Write me an email please or leave me a comment.
good to hear you arrived safe there. :) and just always remember: pull the plugs. the solution for almost every electronic problem. :p
… and if pullig plugs doesn’t help anymore, either kick it or throw it out of the window. Some people believe that starring with fear into the direction of the electrical device will help, but I doubt that. :D
Good to hear you’re well, have fun in that awesome town!
Please don’t forget to take lots of pictures! And you really shouldn’t let yourself get bored…go rent a bike and go into the city to play! And bring your camera.. I’ve never been there, never seen pictures, so I shall live vicariously through you.
Ciao!
Although, I bet if you made faces at it, it might crack a smile a bit, and then if you sweet-talk it a bit, it might even give you internet back. You’re a pretty girl, use your charms…
Whee, thank you *lol* I should wear more makeup only for those… things ;)
I forgot the camera in Germany -_- But I’ll take it with me after my next visit. Or somebody will bring it here…. ^^
Your provider fucking sucks. Get someone with a clue to get you a provider with a clue.
